Mount Fuji is one of those sights you would not want to miss when traveling to Japan or specifically somewhere in the country where you can get a good view of it. The beautiful, iconic, and sacred mountain is a sight to behold whether from afar or up close. And if you are visiting Tokyo, you might want to take a moment, or more, to admire the breathtaking view. Here are just some of the many ways to see and enjoy the country’s beloved Fujisan.
1. If you cannot make the trip from Tokyo to Mount Fuji or any place that lets you take a closer look, make sure to visit the Tokyo Tower or the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Observation Deck to see the picturesque sight.
2. If you are planning a trip to Kyoto or Osaka by train, take the Shinkansen and make sure to sit at the right side of the train for a great view.
3. Stay in one of the hotels near Mt Fuji or in the Lake Kawaguchiko area. The latter is one of the best spots to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous mountain. If you are lucky, you might even get to pick a good spot in an onsen that provides a dramatic view of the scenic Fujisan landscape or see its reflection on the lake.
4. Get a clear view while exploring the many attractions of Fuji Q Highlands. Some of the amusement park’s top attractions include its wide array of roller coasters and rides, the house of horror known as the Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear, and its anime theme park among others.
